Construction of the Pt. Bermis Refinery, Indonesia
In 1996, the Ban Pong Group's first overseas project was accomplished. The group successfully constructed its first sugar refinery plant in Indonesia. The producing capacity was 500 tons of refined sugar output per day. Advanced technology in both the constructions and processing procedures were used in this start-to-finish, "Turn-Key" project.
1997-2001
Relocation of Diachi Seito and Chubu Seito Raw Sugar Mills from Okinawa, Japan to form Sweet Crystal Integrated Sugar Mill in Porac, Philippines
This 3 years project included:

Dismantling of 2 raw sugar mills from Okinawa, Japan

Transportation of the machinery to Porac, Philippines
•
Machinery refurbishment and fabrication
•
Design of the new combined factory
•
Machinery installation
This "Turn-Key" project was a landmark success for the Ban Pong Group since it involved the long-range transportation of 2 sugar mills to form a newly designed mill in a different country. The expandable capacity of the Sweet Crystal Integrated Sugar Mill is 1,800 tons of cane per day (TCD).
